Woman Says Man Grabbed Her Inappropriately At Beachwood Mall

Police searched the mall for the suspect but were unable to find him.

BEACHWOOD, OH — Police were unable to find a man accused of inappropriately touching a woman at Beachwood Place Mall over the weekend. The woman was shopping at Dillard's when she said the man grabbed her. Multiple officers searched the premises but could not find the man.

OVI, March 23 — Police stopped a car on Chagrin Boulevard, near the Porsche dealership. The driver, a woman, was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

Disturbance, March 23 — Officers were called to the Beachwood Adult Activities Center on Friday. Staff reported there had been a fight between a patient and an employee.

Disturbance, March 24 — A former employee at Dillard's, 26500 Cedar Road, keeps returning to the store and causing problems with current staffers. Police were called to the scene to issue a trespassing ban to the ex-worker.

Marijuana Possession, March 24 — A juvenile on Greenwich Lane was found in possession of marijuana.

Disturbance, March 24 — Callers reported a fight breaking out at the Embassy Suites, 3775 Park East. However, when police arrived they investigated and found it wasn't a physical fight, but a verbal argument.

Suspicion, March 24 — A female customer at Dillard's said that a man had touched her inappropriately while she was shopping at the store. Multiple officers searched the mall but could not find the suspect.

Theft of License Plate, March 25 — A man reported his license plates were stolen off his car while it was being serviced at the Porsche Dealership on Chagrin Boulevard. The plates were later recovered by Shaker Heights Police.

License Suspension, March 25 — Police stopped a car on Shaker Boulevard for making a prohibited turn. The driver had an open container of alcohol in the vehicle. The driver was arrested and taken back to Beachwood Jail.
