• BG Save Our Neighborhoods Group receives capacity-building grant (bgindependentmedia.org) — A Bowling Green volunteer group focused on neighborhood preservation and affordable housing has received a capacity-building grant from the John Henry Eldred Jr. Foundation. The funding will help BG Save Our Neighborhoods Group develop a community land trust in the Bowling Green area, aiming to secure permanently affordable housing while continuing projects like home repairs, renters' rights workshops, and community town halls.
• Measles Case Confirmed in Bowling Green; Health Officials Identify Possible Exposure Sites (wowo.com) — Health officials have confirmed a measles case in Bowling Green and are warning residents who visited Bowling Green State University, Pagliai's, Wood County Hospital, or Falcon Health Center on specific recent dates to monitor for symptoms. Vaccinated people face low risk, but anyone unsure of their immunity or noticing fever or rash is urged to contact a healthcare provider before visiting a clinic or emergency room.
• Kiwanis Club welcomes Owens Community College speakers (sent-trib.com) — Bowling Green residents are invited to today's Kiwanis Club meeting at noon in the Slater Family Ice Arena Lounge on the BGSU campus, with lunch available from 11:30 a.m. for $18.
