A tip of the hat to our wonderful Life Enrichment team, but especially to Activity Director’s Assistant Christine Kurtz for encouraging the poetry writing of Clare Hall resident Elizabeth Siciliano.
Every day Elizabeth reads one of her poems prior to the start of Christine’s activities. Christine tells us that Elizabeth was recently surprised with a quilt presented to her by her friends at St. Killian Church parish in Cranberry Township near Pittsburgh.
“There were 10 people involved with making the quilt,” Elizabeth said.

The quilt was a Christmas gift from Norma Sabados, the wife of Elizabeth’s nephew. The quilt features poems written by “Aunt Lee” (Elizabeth’s nickname).
