It’s time to submit your nomination for a 2012 Brecksville Beautification Award! This program recognizes outstanding residential, church or commercial properties with great curb appeal, water feature, patio garden, vegetable garden or anything else eye-catching. Is there a landscape that you admire as you drive around town? Are you especially proud of your own? Let The Brecksville Beautification Committee know about it so we can reward all of that hard work. Forms are available at the Brecksville Community Center or online at the City of Brecksville website under Breaking News, Brecksville Bulletin, Summer 2012, page 10. Or email us the name, street address and contact information for the nominee and your contact information in case we have questions.

Winners will be notified by mid-July and will be recognized at an August City Council meeting. Each winner receives a granite plaque for their garden, the opportunity to display an award sign in their yard and their name engraved on a plaque that hangs in city hall.

Nominations are open to any attractive properties in Brecksville and may include residences, churches, businesses, entranceways to residential and/or commercial developments, etc. You can nominate a property because you know there is a lovely patio garden in the back, great curb appeal from the street, a neat gazebo on the side or really for any reason whatsoever. We are looking for great properties with beautiful features that people want to emulate.
