The Kiwanis Club of Brecksville recognized two of its valued members, Robert Andree and Dr. Dasarathi(Das) Ram, with Legion of Honor Awards at a recent Thursday night meeting.
Das has been an active member of the Brecksville club for 30 years. Working long hours as a radiologist has not prevented him from finding time to give back to the community through Kiwanis. Das truly takes the Kiwanis mission of service to heart, as he is not
only a past Club President, but has also put in hundreds of hours of service in many club projects such as the Horse Show.
Bob Andree was presented with a Legion of Honor award for his 45 years of service in Kiwanis. Bob was first a member of the Rocky River Kiwanis Club, later moving to the Brecksville Club where he has
been an active member for the past 38 years. A past Club President, Bob supports the mission of the Kiwanis not only at the local level, but also on a statewide level, serving as both the Division 24 Lieutenant Governor (1976-77) and the Ohio District Governor (1993-94).

At this recent Kiwanis meeting it was further noted that of the fifty four members of the club, there are six other members who have given 25 or more years of service in Kiwanis. These six members, along with Das Ram and Bob Andree, have given a total of 302
years of service to their community through Kiwanis, and they personify the spirit of service that Kiwanis seeks to advance.
