Brecksville Resident Graduates Marietta College

Stephen Moldovanyi of Brecksville completed requirements for the bachelor of science degree with a major in geology and petroleum engineering, and graduated during the 174th Commencement at Marietta College on May 8.

Dr. Arthur Levine, one of the nation's leading experts in higher education and President of the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation, delivered the commencement address to the Class of 2011.

Located in Marietta, Ohio, at the confluence of the Muskingum and Ohio rivers, Marietta College is a four-year liberal arts college. Tracing its roots to the Muskingum Academy begun in 1797, the College was officially chartered in 1835. Today Marietta College serves a body of 1,400 full-time students. The College offers more than 40 majors and has been listed among Barron's Best Buys in College Education and Peterson's Competitive Colleges, and has been recognized as one of the top regional comprehensive colleges by U.S. News and World Report and The Princeton Review.
