Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow telling us there might be 6 more weeks of winter. But, don’t despair!! The Brecksville Center for the Arts (BCA) has some great classes to brighten these dreary days of winter. In February, there are several new classes that will begin. For adults there will be Adult Printmaking, where students will explore the basic techniques of linocut and stamping which makes a great addition to scrapbooking, journaling and the creation of greeting cards. Perhaps you would like to learn the basics of Photoshop, or weave a lovely basket in our Weave Over Glass class. For children, we have new workshops, including ones that will meet on Saturdays and during spring break. Professional magician, Brad Schreiber will conducting Magic Classes and workshops , where kids can learn new tricks and the history of “magic”. Art Lab is a class for kids ages 4-6, where they can explore the visual arts and their creativity. There is also a Children’s Printmaking Class where kids can make greeting cards and more!
Ongoing classes in ceramics, art, music and dance are also available to help lift your spirits and bring out your creativity!
