Charter One offering $100,000 in neighborhood development grants

The Charter One Foundation launched a new program to create jobs, revitalize neighborhoods and promote economic development. The Charter One Growing Communities competition will award $100,000 in grants to winning nonprofits that serve neighborhoods in Cuyahoga County.

“As part of Charter One’s efforts to improve communities where we live and work, we are excited to expand the initiative, help strengthen even more neighborhoods and help create additional jobs in Cuyahoga County," said Ken Marblestone, President of Charter One and RBS Citizens in Ohio.

The goal of the program is to revitalize a distinct neighborhood corridor through programs that enhance the community and create new small businesses and jobs.
