BRECKSVILLE, Ohio – The following students from Revere were recognized for several recent awards and honors. Chosen as Outstanding Students in their programs of study for 2013 were Nick Falcon, Auto Service; Michael Peterman, Computer Networking Academy; and Ted Glass Jr., Job Training.
Elizabeth Davis, a junior in the Engineering Technology program, was selected State President for SkillsUSA. According to CVCC SkillsUSA Coordinator Julie Jakubczak, Lizzie, in her capacity as president, will work with national and state leaders in education, government and industry and lobby at the state and national levels for career and technical education.

“This is a life-changing event for Lizzie and an amazing opportunity afforded to career and technical students,” said Mrs. Jakubczak. “She is the face of CT education in the state for the next year and will represent 30,000 members of Ohio SkillsUSA.”
Juniors Maxwell Hess and Mackenzie Schultz also earned 1st and 2nd place, respectively, as part of two separate teams that competed at SkillsUSA State competition in April. Hess will advance with his Career Pathways Arts presentation team to national SkillsUSA competition in June.

These students were inducted into National Technical Honor Society: Jeremy Roth, junior, Computer Aided Design; Mackenzie Schultz, junior, Digital Design; Matthew Larson, adult student, Electrical & Alternative Energy Systems; Kathryn Fenton, junior, Graphic Imaging Technology; and Maxwell Hess, junior, Graphic Imaging Technology.
