Brecksville, OH -- Cuyahoga Valley Career Center’s (CVCC) Career Development Department will host five summer camps for students in grades 4, 5, and 6 with a focus on technology from June 24 to 28, 2013. Monday through Thursday, campers will work on fun, creative, project-based activities using different areas of technology. On Friday, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM., campers will finalize their projects for a parent presentation from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Camps counselors will include technology and education professionals. Each of the five camps will focus on a different aspect of technology, including Programming, Movie Making, Video Game Design, Engineering, and LEGO® Robotics. A mid-morning snack will be provided daily for the campers.
The cost of the week-long camp is $195 for in-district students and $205 for students who do not reside in one of the eight school districts CVCC serves. A $10 Early Bird discount will be given to those who register before April 23. Registration is available online at www.cvccworks.edu.
