Gary Frounfelker, a physical therapist assistant at The Village at Marymount, is a tireless champion for residents and demonstrates a true passion for his profession. As a result of these qualities, Frounfelker recently was honored as Ohio Health Care Association (OHCA) 2012 Rehab/Habilitation Winner of the Year.
Frounfelker was honored with the award during the Association’s May 3 Convention in Columbus. Frounfelker will join other health care profession honorees during the Finale Luncheon and Award Ceremony at the Columbus Convention Center.
“Gary really does put his residents’ best interests first,” said Executive Director Sue Nall. “He’s very deserving of this award.”

Laura Shopp, Director of Rehabilitation Services, said Frounfelker is extremely courteous to his fellow staff members and he is always willing to lend a hand or provide staff education when needed.
