According to legend, little Emily Farnam's spirit remains at the Farnam Manor located at 4223 Brecksville Road in Richfield. Emily was the daughter of Everett Farnam who built the Manor in 1834. She drowned in the cistern there in 1858 at the age of 7.
Local residents report word around town was that the place is haunted! There are no evil spirits at the Manor, rather, good spirits that enjoy your company! Recent encounters with the Spirits support the legend. Over 1000 people have visited the Spirits of Farnam Manor over the past few weeks and have experienced strange happenings. Many have caught orbs of energy floating throughout the house on their cameras. Objects move, shadows sweep the halls, and some have felt little Emily holding their hand!
