Online Tech Club for Kids

NEW SESSION OF CVCC’S ONLINE TECH CLUB FOR KIDS

Brecksville, OH  -- Cuyahoga Valley Career Center’s (CVCC) Career Development Department will offer a new session of  the Online Tech Club for students in grades 4, 5, and 6 in March, 2013.   The cost of the club is $45 per session.  Online registration is available at http://tinyurl.com/CVCC-TechClub.  The deadline for registration is March 23, 2013.  Additional information is available at 440-838-8851.       

Club participants will learn online skills in media including digital animation, video game creation, 3D modeling, digital movie making, and much more through weekly interactive lessons.  Students will access lessons and submit assignments through CVCC’s online learning platform, Moodle.  An orientation will be held at CVCC on March 23, 2013 at 9:00am for all club participants and their parents.  Club materials and instructions will be distributed at this orientation.  All software programs being utilized are available as free downloads.

The instructor, Stephanie Sutton, MPM, is the owner of Digital Animation for Kids and has been teaching in the Cleveland area for five years. She holds a Masters of Public Management degree with a concentration in technology.

The Career Center is located one mile east of the I-77/Wallings Road exit, opposite Wallings Road on Brecksville Road/Rt. 21.
