
Nearly 500 supporters of The Village at Marymount attended the third annual Celebration of Life Gala, held Sept. 21 at Executive Caterers at Landerhaven. Jim Filicko, managing partner of Blue Chip Consulting Group, served as the Honorary Chair and Bishop Roger Gries, OSB, auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of Cleveland and a former resident of Villa St. Joseph, provided the invocation. WKYC-TV3 news anchor and reporter Amanda Barren served as Mistress of Ceremonies, and the Jerry Bruno Orchestra provided the entertainment.
The Cleveland Clinic was recognized as a Lead Gift Sponsor and former Garfield Heights Mayor Thomas Longo provided a generous Lead Gift sponsorship for the Fund-A-Need portion of the Live Auction. The Village at Marymount's Fund-A-Need project for 2013 will be a renovation of the Marymount Place lobby.
In addition to Blue Chip Consulting Group, Creative Healthcare Consulting Inc., and Mr. Joseph Scaminace were Diamond Sponsors of the event. The OM Group, of which Mr. Scaminace serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, was a Platinum Sponsor.
