In a nutshell: Aside from the name, there’s really nothing much about London Pickle Works that screams “Jolly Olde England.” True, there’s a lot of dark wood paneling, a style choice you may certainly find in a typical British pub, but that’s where the comparison ends.

Not to say that’s a bad thing at all. While not exactly “quaint,” it definitely has the charm of a typical neighborhood pub. Still, given the restaurant's semi-colorful name, an even more colorful menu would have been nice, but the “Piccadilly” chicken sandwich and the “London” burger are about as quirky as it gets.

But who cares about the name of the food? All it has to do is taste good, and indeed it does. In the end, London Pickle Works is a typical bar that serves typical bar food, but at least its good food and you’ll be comfortable while eating it.
