Board of Education Discusses Goals for School Year

The Brecksville-Broadview Heights Board of Education and the superintendent discussed district goals for the year during . 

Superintendent Scot Prebles shared a presentation with the board on the goals and action plans for the 2011-2012 academic year. The goals fell under five main topics: communications, continuous improvement plans, professional learning communities, cost savings and negotiations. 

Board member Alan Scheufler said that after spending so much time in recent years focusing on specific details like budgets and staff reductions, it was good to step back and look at the big picture.
