Both Boys and Girls Basketball Teams Face Amherst This Friday

This Friday, Bees fans will have the chance to cheer on both the boys and the girls basketball teams in a rare doubleheader.

Both teams will face off against Amherst Steele at . The girls varsity game will begin at 6 p.m., and the boys varsity game will begin at 7:30 p.m. The boys junior varsity team is scheduled to play earlier that afternoon.

Athletic Director Dan Kalinsky said the boys team has been performing well this season—their record on HighSchoolSports.net shows eight wins and three losses.

The girls team hasn’t had as much success—their record on HighSchoolSports.net shows five wins and six losses so far this year—but this is a rebuilding year for them, Kalinsky said. The team lost 12 seniors at the end of last year and don’t have a single senior on the team this year.
