We took a 30 minute drive to Huntington Beach in Bay Village. I anticipated that we would be the only ones on the beach. I was wrong! I guess there are a lot of Moms out there that feel the way I do about Beach Glass!
There was plenty for everyone. Naturally, my kids are Beach Glass junkies as well. White, cobolt blue, aqua blue, green and brown pieces of Beach Glass filled our plastic bags as we listened to the waves of Lake Erie crawl on the shore. The rarest colors to find around the lake are purple, pink, grey and yellow.

My daughter found the most prized piece, yellow! It was a large one as well. Naturally, we will be making a necklace with it for her. I do make jewelry out of the Beach Glass that I find. But more importantly, the memories made from the hunt are worth more than the treasures.
