The Brecksville-Broadview Heights Board of Education Gets Rattled & Jumps the Gun

It's smoke and mirrors when the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Board of Education claims that the strike authorization vote by the Association was premature.  The Brecksville Board of Education cancelled negotiation dates in July indicating they may no longer continue negotiations.  The final meeting between the teams lasted less than an hour because the Board of Education declared impasse.

It's premature when the Board hired a strike security firm after just four negotiations sessions.

It's premature that the Superintendent ordered the teachers to turn in their materials at the end of the school year.

It's premature that the Board advertised for replacement substitutes in July when they say they can negotiate well into the school year.
