For more news from the board meeting, check Brecksville Patch later today.

The Brecksville-Broadview Heights Board of Education last night approved more staff reductions, eliminating jobs or decreasing hours in contracts for more than 20 employees.

The budget was the center of many of the board’s discussions during the 5-hour Monday night meeting. The board also took a closer look at the district’s five-year financial forecast and approved pay-to-participate fees for athletics and other activities for the year. Students and their families will have to pay 100 percent of the fees this year, said Superintendent Scot Prebles.

For more details on these items and more news from the board meeting, check Brecksville Patch Tuesday afternoon.
