Candidate Statement:

After serving on the Board of Education for 8 years, I was humbled when several people from the community asked me to run for re-election. They told me I was doing a good job and should continue to work for the success of our students. Student success has been my goal and shall continue to be my goal should I be re-elected. I will strive to improve the safety and security of our schools and ensure that our students receive the education they need to succeed in the 21st Century.

I have the experience and training to serve as a school board member. I have given hours of service to the district as a chaperone and volunteer. I am a member of the athletic boosters, orchestra boosters and the PSO. And as part of the leadership team, we have continued the heritage of excellence in our schools.
