Brecksville Church Bells Set to Toll on Sunday, November 1
You may hear church bells on Sunday morning. Here's why!
Listen for the tolling of the bell from the tower of Brecksville United Methodist Church!
This Sunday, November 1 the church celebrates All Saints Sunday.
During church services at 8:45 am and 11:15 am, the names of church friends and families who have departed this earth over the past year will be read. As each name is called, the bell will toll.

Christian Education Director, Jenny Gee, explains, ”If you hear the bell tolling Sunday morning you will know each ring symbolizes a life well lived by a child of God. We will miss them here on earth, but the impact they have had on their friends and families will never fade away!”
The church bell is over 100 years old and has an interesting history of its own! Local history buffs may enjoy learning about it here.
