Brecksville's 'Shred Your Documents Day' Benefits the Brecksville Pantry

Residents who dropped off unwanted documents received free shredding. They were asked to bring a donation to the Brecksville Food Pantry.

Director of Human Services Ted Lux said in an email that 26 boxes of food were collected for the Brecksville Pantry during ." 

Lux said that was “a lot,” especially considering that the city held its last shredding day in May. 

The day gives individuals the chance to shred sensitive documents for free; in exchange, the city asks for donations of canned goods for the Brecksville Pantry.
