Chippewa Garden Club enjoy sharing

What a beautiful weather day on Saturday, June 27 when the Chippewa Garden Club members hosted their Annual Social and Plant Exchange at the Squire Rich Museum grounds, enjoying a cool yet humid day. For many years, club members have meticulously maintained the Herb Garden on the premises, creating a picturesque setting where visitors can stroll and harvest fresh herbs for their culinary needs.

On this occasion, 15 members participated in a plant exchange, bringing a diverse array of indoor and outdoor plants from their homes to share.

The event featured an assortment of homemade appetizers, sides, pizza, and desserts, which the attendees thoroughly enjoyed.

Following the socializing, Debbie led a workshop on crafting red, white, and blue petite floral designs for our homes.

Members then selected plants to take home, with many acquiring new additions to their gardens. The morning's festivities were deemed a success, thanks to the enjoyable blend of socialization, education, and community.
