City Council Recognizes Beautification Committee Awards

Brecksville City Council congratulated the winners of the 2011 Beautification Committee awards during .
The winners of the three categories:
- Gina Santucci and Connie Tezie for residential landscaping
- Mark and Barbara Weigand for century home.
- Ara and Mila Kallibjian for water feature
Mayor Jerry N. Hruby also announced the ribbon cutting of the Old Royalton Road bridge, and the bridge's dedication to fallen . Both are planned for Wednesday.

"It’s a very, very nice gesture," Hruby said. "It’s a way to keep in mind we had one of our young men who went off to war and didn’t return the way we hoped him to return."
