Election Reminders for Aug. 7

Residents in the have a special election today.

There’s a for the school district on the ballot—it’s the only issue voters will see. The renewal levy brings in more than $5 million for the district each year.

Here are the polling locations for Brecksville voters:

• Precincts A, B, C:
• Precincts D, E, G:
• Precincts F, K:
• Precincts H, I, J: Blossom property, building 7 (4400 Oakes Road)

Voters can check which precinct they’re in on the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections website. Polling locations will open at 6:30 a.m. and close at 7:30 p.m.

Don’t forget to bring proper identification to the polls—a list of acceptable documents can be found on the board’s website—and any vote-by-mail ballots that have not been mailed yet can be submitted in person at the Board of Elections office.
