Representatives from Ohio Connections Academy, a leading e-school serving students in grades K-12 from across Ohio, will host an information session on Monday, March 4th in Independence to educate prospective parents and students about the virtual public school. Teachers, administrators and parents of current students will be available to answer questions about how the online school works, the benefits to students, and how to enroll. The sessions are scheduled across the state for families making enrollment decisions for the upcoming school year.
Ohio Connections Academy delivers a personalized virtual public school education that combines state-certified teachers, a print-rich curriculum, technology tools and community experiences. Teachers develop a personalized learning plan for each student, deliver instruction, evaluate assignments and work directly with students via the phone and Internet, while a parent or other adult “Learning Coach,” oversees progress in the home.
