The 4-Way Test Speech Contest is a competitive contest designed to foster the principles of ethics in everyday life as well as business. The Rotary’s 4-Way Test asks four important questions. Of the things we think, say, or do –
- Is it the TRUTH?
- Is it FAIR to all concerned?
- Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
- Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?”
The contest is Sponsored by the Rotary Club of North Royalton-Broadview Heights and contestants include high school students from North Royalton High School and Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School.
The contest is held in three phases beginning with the local Club level. The winner represents the Club at the Regional level to be held in March/April. The District Finals will be held on May 19, 2012 in State College, PA with the first place winner receiving $750.”
