Family Tie-Dying Fun at the Library

Families gathered outside of the Thursday night for the “Take a Dip” tie-dye program.  

Teen Librarian Julie Zukauckas said the branch has been hosting the event for the past few years.  

“It’s a great program,” she said, adding that people might want to try tie-dying but don’t necessarily want to do it at home. 

A section of the grass outside the library held four garbage cans of yellow, orange, blue and purple water, and people could fill squirt bottles with the water to add to their designs. 

“It’s nice because they can’t do it wrong,” Zukauckas said.
