Free Wellness Event at the Community Center Saturday
The event will take place in the lobby on Saturday morning.
The Wealth of Health event on Saturday is designed to share the wellness resources in the community with residents, said Rhonda Miko, wellness director and assistant fitness coordinator at the Community Center.
Miko said she wants to host these events regularly to give people an idea of the different healthy resources nearby. Saturday’s event will be small, and residents can just drop in. Vendors will include Marymount Hospital, , and Suburban Physical Therapy.
“Hopefully, it will bring a few people in,” Miko said.

What you’ll see: About 10 to 12 tables of local, health and wellness-related vendors, Miko said.
Why go: The event is designed to help “spark interest in healthy topics," Miko said. The vendors will have a lot of information and Marymount Hospital will be offering free blood pressure screenings.
