This wonderful ensemble, under the direction of Kelly Mollnow Wilson and Becky Chen, has shared their music with Brecksville United Methodist Church during worship services several times over the past few years. We are very excited to welcome them back for a full-length concert of music for flute choir, including the unique alto and bass flutes! A reception will follow in the church parlor.

The November 1st concert will feature the Greater Cleveland Flute Society’s flute choir, Erie Waters. Works will include compositions by Handel, Bizet, Ian Clarke, Offermans, Dubois and more. The flute choir includes piccolo, alto,bass and c flutes. This diverse program will feature Baroque through contemporary music. The exotic Ian Clarke work uses an array of extended flute techniques and Jungle Dance, by Will Offermans will feature a lively rhythm section of bottles and a bird whistle. Kelly Mollnow Wilson and Becky Chen will share conducting duties.


The Greater Cleveland Flute Society is an organization dedicated to furthering the interest of the flute through education and performance.
