Help Brecksville Patch Honor Local 'Whiz Kids'

From the teenager who tutors younger students in his or her spare time to the senior who just earned a full scholarship to his or her dream college, we know local kids are working tirelessly toward their goals and giving back to the community. 

At Brecksville Patch, we want to recognize that. But we need your help to spot all of the great deeds and big accomplishments going on behind the scenes. 

If you know an awesome kid, nominate them to become a Brecksville Patch Whiz Kid. We’ll highlight their accomplishments and tell a little bit about how they got there. Maybe you’re a teacher who sees a student going above and beyond every day in class, or a proud parent whose child volunteers on the weekends with friends. This is your chance to let them know that people notice the work they do. 

To nominate a student that you know, send an email to Editor Rachel Abbey with the following information:

• Your name and e-mail address,
• The Whiz Kid's name (this can be an individual or a group),
• The Whiz Kid's age and grade level,
• The Whiz Kid's school,
• The Whiz Kid's accomplishment,
• And an idea of what made the Whiz Kid successful.
