Lower Rates for 2011 Community Center Membership Begin June 1

Starting June 1, Brecksville residents without a to the can purchase one at a lower rate. 

The Community Center offers prorated membership rates that decrease every three months. But Recreation Department Director Tom Tupa said that for the past few years, the department has gotten permission from City Council to push July’s decrease up to June. Tupa said that gives people the chance to take advantage of the center’s pools for the summer.

The new rates can be found on the Community Center’s website under the July 1 heading. The rates range from $142.50 for a married couple with children to as little as $35 for students and senior citizens.
