Marc’s to Replace Giant Eagle

Marc’s will be moving into the space left empty by , announced in a press release Tuesday afternoon.

Marc's is a local grocery store chain. The chain began more than 30 years ago in nearby Middleburg Heights, according to the store's site.

The new store will be larger than the current Giant Eagle—according to the release, interior renovations and construction will give Marc’s an additional 16,000 square feet for a total of 46,000 square feet.

The new Marc’s store will be the local chain’s first since its rebranding. The store will feature low prices as well as high quality fresh produce, meats and organic food. It will also include a cold-cuts counter.

The Snider Company is the property manager of the . Giant Eagle announced that —the Brecksville store will remain open until a new Broadview Heights store opens later this year.

Denise Blank, operations manager at The Snider Company, said in the release that the group thinks Marc’s will increase business for the whole center.
