Middle School Play Raises More than $17,000
The money went to the local Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the school.

The numbers are in, and the fall musical raised more than $17,000.
Michelle Adamczyk, producer of the play, said in an email that after expenses, “” brought in a total of $17,204.40. Expenses included the set, costumes and paying custodians for the Sunday shows. Many of the raffle items and refreshments sold were donated.
The majority of the proceeds—80 percent—went to the local Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Adamczyk said the check for more than $13,000 was presented to the society last week. The rest of the money was dedicated for the school’s arts programs.
