Music in Motion Performs Feb. 11 and 12
Brecksville-Broadview Heights' show choir and band play Michael Jackson, Madonna and more.
Brecksville-Broadview Heights' show choir “Music in Motion” will take the stage this weekend at the . The “Ticket to Broadway: Come on Feel the Noise” fundraiser includes music by Michael Jackson, Madonna and 80s rock.
Thursday night, students dressed casually to do one last run through the show before Friday's opening act. The stage went dark, the curtain rose and the band "Commotion" glowed in blue lighting, while each singer took his or her place. As the music grew louder, guys and girls turned to face the audience in song. Though their voices remained low to save their vocals for opening night, the group danced energetically.
The opening performance on Friday will kick off at 7 p.m. with the “Faculty Jam” where faculty can show off musical talent. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students, and seating is open.
