News Nearby: This Weekend Around the Patches

Are you looking to get a little bit away this weekend? Check out some of the events going on in towns nearby, with previews courtesy of local Patches. 

There are a couple of events that let you shop while supporting good causes: 

• According to , you can check out anything from jewelry to music to a farmer’s market at the Avon Lake Summer Market on Friday and Saturday. Money from the event will benefit a local family, a historical landmark and a nursery school. 
• And  notes that H2O (Help to Others) will hold its annual Clothes 4 Kids event on Saturday. Shoppers get the chance to purchase gently used clothes and shoes, and the money raised goes to support the organization.
