Commencement for the 2011 class of Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School begins at 2 p.m. Saturday at the State Theatre in Cleveland’s Playhouse Square. Graduating seniors are expected to be at the theater by 1 p.m. Allow time to find parking near Playhouse Square.
Class speakers will be Tess Stevens and Jolaina “JoJo” Jesser. Instead of the more traditional standard of a class valedictorian and a salutorian addressing the class, the speakers at Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School are selected by a faculty committee based on speech texts submitted to the committee.
This year’s class comprises 407 graduates. A list provided by the school district will be posted Sunday.
