Seared Restaurant Delays Opening Until Next Week

Anyone looking to buy dinner at Brecksville’s newest restaurant has to wait one more week. 

Seared, which was , is delaying its opening until next week.  

Chef and owner Mike Moralis said they decided to push back the opening and put some finishing touches on the restaurant. 

“We just want it to look perfect, that’s all,” Moralis said. 

He said they’re aiming to have the new steak and seafood restaurant open on Sept. 21. The restaurant will start with a soft opening and plan a grand opening for sometime shortly after.

If the restaurant misses its Sept. 21 goal, Moralis said they’ll work to have it open early the following week.
