Some Road Closures Remain in Brecksville

The county is under a flood warning until later tonight.

While the National Weather Service isn’t predicting any more rain for Brecksville today, there is still a flood warning for Cuyahoga County through 9 p.m. tonight.

Ron Weidig, Brecksville’s public services director, said that as of 2:30 p.m., most of the roads in Brecksville were cleared of water. He advised that motorists heed any remaining signs, however, as a few roads are still closed.

Weidig said that Riverview Road, north of Vaughn Road, and Vaughn Road are closed, as water is still “raging” across Vaughn. Riverview Road is also still closed south of Snowville Road.
