Teacher, Staff Unions Release Their Own Contract Negotiations Website
Now, both the school board and the unions have taken the conversation to the web.

The teachers and staff unions for the today released their own website detailing members' questions and concerns about the negotiations, as well as publishing current and proposed contracts. The school board published its website in April.
According to a press release from the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Education Association and the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Organization of Support Staff, the website is in response to the school board’s site. The unions also want to promote transparency and allow the community to get their side of the issues. There are places on the site for individuals to submit questions to the unions.
The . Typically, proposals are not made available to the public. The school board decided to change that earlier this year. Board President David Tryon has said the board feels the proposals are public records, and the board has been trying to operate more transparently.
