Blackout by Connie Willis
Author Connie Willis just won her seventh Nebula award (awarded by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America) with this time-traveling adventure and its sequel, All Clear. In the year 2060, time travel is a tool used to study past world changing events. When three time-traveling historians become stuck in the heat of London’s blitz during World War II, they start to suspect that there is a problem with the previously held theory that time-travel can’t change history. It seems they may have done just that.
