Update: Severe Storm Passes Through the Brecksville Area

Update: As of 8:01 p.m., the tornado warning is done for the area. Cuyahoga County remains under a flood advisory and a severe thunderstorm watch, according to the National Weather Service.

The National Weather Service still has the area under a tornado warning until 8 p.m. The county is also under a flood advisory until 9:30 p.m. and a severe thunderstorm watch until midnight.

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for the area, including Brecksville. 

According to the warning, the safest place to be during a tornado is in a basement.
