Rain delays caused an unimaginable situation where the Gators played back to back to back to back to back games to win a championship in the bottom of the 7th against the Hurricane Selects (another diamond league team). With bases loaded and 1 out, the right fielders caught a pop fly and gunned out the 3rd base runner who was going home. The crowd errupted after more than 12 hours of total playing time with no more than 30 minutes in between the five consecutive playoff games. Congrats to local BBHHS high school ballers on the MAF U16 Gators: John Starinsky, Danny Cody, Anthony Demeo, Kyle Stringer and Kanaveer Pooni. Starinsky & Cody pitched winning games and Anthony Demeo closed a winner also. Stringer plays center and Pooni plays 3rd.
