This past Saturday, the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Schools Foundation held its fifth annual Beach Ball at St. Michael's Woodside.

The funds raised during the event go toward scholarships, classroom grants and other special projects, Brecksville-Broadview Heights Board of Education member Alan Scheufler said during the board's meeting on Monday. Saturday's event received a lot of community support, Scheufler added.
