The Towpath trail near Brecksville Station was busy on Wednesday. Not only did a couple of women ride horseback on the trail, there were quite a few joggers and cyclists on the path, and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad made its presence known.
A break in the oppressive heat of the two previous days seemed to be a major attraction. Retirees and at least one school group were on the trail shortly before noon.
Highs in the 70s are expected Thursday and Friday before they return to the 80s Saturday.
