Whiz Kids: The Members of the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Talking Bees
Do you know a student who should be honored? Nominate them today!

Earlier this week, at Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School, highlighting the success they’ve had in such a short time.
We’ve also previously highlighted one of its members,. He’ll be representing the team at the National Forensic League Tournament this summer.
But the students on the team deserve an additional pat on the back for their teamwork and mentoring. One of their coaches, John Kerezy, noted that the team doesn’t have an adviser in the building, so he encourages students to help one another.

“I’m so proud of the kids because they get it,” Kerezy said.
Hannah Olsen, a member of the team, gave a good example of this teamwork. The freshman made it to the state finals this year, a big accomplishment for such a young student. Olsen said part of that was thanks to Melissa Michaud, a senior who helped her prepare for the tournament.
