Woman Pleads Guilty to Felonious Assault in Pepper Spray Case

Laura Molnar today pled guilty to one count of felonious assault and one count of possessing drug abuse instruments in a brief trial at the Justice Center in Cleveland.  

Molnar, 22, was . She was originally charged with four counts of felonious assault, one of possessing drug use instruments and one of use, possession or sale of drug paraphernalia, according to the Cuyahoga County Clerk of Courts website. 

The remaining counts were dismissed. The assault charge is a 2^nd-degree felony and the possession is a misdemeanor. Molnar’s sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 21.
