This casual, come-as-you-are worship service takes place on the front lawn of Brecksville United Methodist Church (facing Brecksville Square.) Enjoy all the important elements of worship in a beautiful, outdoor setting. If you love to start the day early, or love the outdoors, this service is for you!
Worship on the Lawn begins Sunday June 1 and continues every Sunday throughout the summer months, weather permitting. (If it's raining, we'll meet in the church Sanctuary.)
At 10:00, we gather in the Sanctuary for a service with our worship band and singers. This service combines contemporary and traditional worship elements, and includes a praise band, hymns and the organ.
On a typical Sunday, about 275 people attend worship at BUMC. Some of us have attended here for many years and some are brand new. We come from all walks of life, different political perspectives and many denominational and religious backgrounds. Despite our diversity, we are committed to the belief that we all belong together in community!
