Mobile Mammography Van stops around the Valley in October (wfmj.com) — Canfield residents can get convenient 3D mammogram screenings when the Joanie Abdu Mobile Mammography Unit visits Canfield Primary Care on October 16 and Stutz Primary Care on October 23. The van offers insurance-covered screenings, financial assistance options, and results read by both radiologists and computer-aided technology, with appointments available by phone.
2. Ohio State Highway Patrol cracking down on speedy drivers along SR 11 (wfmj.com) — Drivers around Canfield should expect stepped-up Ohio State Highway Patrol enforcement on State Route 11 throughout October, especially near key interchanges like SR 224 and I-80. Troopers are targeting excessive speeding after crashes on the corridor rose between 2024 and 2025, including several fatal incidents, and will add signage reminding motorists to slow down.
3. High School Sports Roundup from Sept. 29 (vindy.com) — Canfield boys soccer stayed unbeaten with a 2-0 win over Louisville, highlighted by goals from Luke Goodrich and Yigit Kapki and a strong defensive effort.
